Jay A. Grob is an Operating Partner at Dallas-based SunTx Capital Partners, where he works with the executive teams at SunTx’s portfolio companies. Mr. Grob also participates in firm diligence, training and recruiting efforts.
Mr. Grob also serves as the Managing Member of Grob Management Partners, LLC, a Dallas-based consulting firm with products tailored specifically to private equity firms and companies involved in diligence, merger integration and value creation planning.
Previously, Mr. Grob was a longtime partner at the global consulting firm Bain & Company, where he worked for 19 years in Boston and Dallas. At Bain, Mr. Grob was a member of the firm’s Private Equity, Merger Integration and Consumer Products Groups. He led over 40 due diligence assignments for a variety of investment groups including GTCR Golder Rauner, Hicks Muse, CSFB and CharlesBank and was involved in portfolio company success stories at Continental Airlines, Swift & Co., and Cambridge Protection Industries.
Mr. Grob holds a BA in English and History from Rice University, and is the Vice President of the Operating Board at North Hills Preparatory School in Irving, Texas.
